  • Type:

    DI-(2-PROPYLHEPTYL) PHTHALATE (DPHP)

  • Molecular:

    C28H46O4

  • CAS NO:

    53306-54-0

  • Introduction:

Di(2-Propyl Heptyl) phthalate (DPHP) is a phthalate ester plasticiser based on isomeric C10 alcohols. DPHP is a nearly colourless, clear and practically anhydrous liquid with a hardly noticeable odour. It is soluble in the usual organic solvents and is miscible and compatible with all of the monomeric plasticisers commonly used in PVC. DPHP is almost insoluble in water.

Application:The product is characterized with low volatility, good heat aging performance and relatively low density, able to increase the volume of plastic products and product extensibility. The product has good low-temperature performance, good resistance to high temperature and certain anti-fogging property in line with the stringent requirements of automotive industry. It has good UV stability, sound anti-migration and resistance to soap-water-leach. PVC products with use of this plasticizer have a better applicability to various work environments.
